The Pink Cottage

"The Olde Pink House" has always been a magical place in downtown Savannah, Georgia.  As a young girl in Savannah, it was intriguing for me to see an old home in the shade of pink. It wasn't until I was a young adult that I actually had the privilege of dining in this delightful historical restaurant.

The Greek portico creates a grand entrance and welcomes you into the restaurant. The interior features a lovely but simple Georgian stairway.

I'm not sure if it was the Olde Pink House influence or not, but, I have always enjoyed the idea of living in a pink cottage by the sea.  I was inspired to create a fabulous new collection for Dixie & Grace, called the Pink Cottage, after purchasing an English antique botanical print of a pink lily.  Later, while searching the internet, I discovered this charming Pink Cottage (pictured below) in Cornwall England.

It seems our Pink Cottage Collection would be beautiful inside this Pink Cottage in North Cornwall.

Below, we've chosen this pale pink paint color because it is neutral, extremely subtle and sophisticated.
