A hand-made reproduction from the English Arts and Crafts movement (circa 1880-1910). The turned "bobbin" technique of the 17th century was employed to reduce the bulkiness of the furniture and later became synonymous with the English "rural" style.
"Every person will experience each piece differently as they call on their collective memory with clues from historical reference." Richard Johnson
